Work with us
We are a small team, so every person here is visible in the work. That cuts both ways, and you should know it before you write rather than after.
There is not always a position open. We are saying that at the top rather than at the bottom, because finding it out at the end wastes your time. When room does open we go to the people who already wrote to us first, so writing now is not wasted even if the answer today is not yet.
Four kinds of work
Not four vacancies. These are the things that get done here, so you know which direction you would be walking in.
Content writing
Posts and captions for accounts across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. You write in several different voices in one day, which is the hard part and the part we test.
What we look for- You write plainly in English without it sounding stiff
- You can sound like a business you knew nothing about by the third attempt
- You take an edit without defending every sentence
Community and moderation
Running groups and comment sections. Screening join requests, clearing spam, answering people, and starting conversations rather than only removing things.
What we look for- You stay steady with people who are angry or rude
- You apply a rule the same way on a bad day as on a good one
- You spot a bad actor before members start complaining
Design and short video
Graphics and short edits sized for each platform. Not brand identity work, but the daily visual output an account lives on.
What we look for- You work fast and to a size, not slowly and to perfection
- You can cut a short video that holds attention past the first second
- You keep a look consistent across weeks, not just in one post
Account coordination
Keeping several accounts moving. Turning what is needed into a plan the team can run, and noticing when something is quietly slipping.
What we look for- You track several things at once without any of them going dark
- You can read a set of numbers and say what they mean in one sentence
- You raise a problem early rather than hoping it resolves itself
What the days are actually like
It is daily, not in bursts
Accounts need attention every working day. This is not a job where you disappear for a week and catch up on Friday.
You write in other voices
Not your own. A plumber and a law firm do not sound the same, and neither should their accounts.
You will read complaints
Comment sections and inboxes carry unhappy people too. Staying level with them is most of the skill.
Remote, but not silent
We work apart and we talk daily. If you want a job with no contact, this is not it.
Your work is checked
Everything client facing gets a second pair of eyes. That is not distrust, it is how mistakes stay small.
You hear when something is wrong
Directly and early, not saved up for a review months later. We expect the same back.
Four steps, in this order
About two weeks from the first email to an answer, once something opens.
You write to us
A short email. Who you are, which of the areas above interests you, and anything you have made. Two paragraphs is enough, and a CV is optional.
A paid test task
When something opens, a small piece of the real work, two to three hours. We pay for it whether or not you join, because unpaid test work is asking for free labour.
One conversation
Forty minutes with the people you would work with. Not a panel, and no puzzle questions.
An answer either way
Within five working days of the call, including if it is a no. Being left waiting is the most common complaint about this process and it is entirely avoidable.
Who this suits, and who it does not
If you want to build one thing deeply over years, this is the wrong place. The work here is many accounts, moving daily, and it rewards people who like variety and consistency more than depth on a single project.
If you want a job where nobody looks closely at what you produce, it is also the wrong place. Everything gets read before it goes out.
